About us
About spotlumy
We are the central hub for media feeds: a training team for professional video operation, live signal management and reliable delivery for news and television.

Our story
Built by operators who wanted better training.
spotlumy began when a group of gallery engineers, camera operators and distribution specialists realised that the skills keeping live television on air were rarely taught in one place. Most people learned on the job, under pressure.
Today we run practical courses in London and Manchester, plus online labs, covering everything from camera work to signal routing and feed delivery. Every programme is shaped around what news programmes and broadcasters actually need.
What we believe
Principles behind every course.
Reliability first
A feed is only useful when it arrives. We teach redundancy, monitoring and calm recovery.
Craft on camera
Clean framing, steady movement and clear communication make every shot easier to use.
Industry standards
Delivery specs, quality control and safe working practice drawn from UK broadcasting.
People over theory
Small cohorts, direct feedback and mentors who still work in live operations.
Our team
The people who teach, support and mentor you.
